\Updated Information about the Filmmakers' CON and additional Tucson events during the weekend of the 21st, 22nd & 23rd.

#1 The location of the event is as above...however the hotel in question is now known as Hotel Arizona, NOT Radisson City Center. Same place, same reputation...but an improved vibe. (This is the headquarters for the world famous Tucson Gem Show).

#2 REEL VISION SCREENING:
Friday, October 21 at 7 p.m.
Screening Room, 127 E. Congress St., Tucson
ROBBING PETER writer/ director Mario de la Vega and producer Patrick Roddy will discuss, "Getting the Most of Your Low Budget" followed by a screening of ROBBING PETER and filmmaker Q/A at 8:30 p.m.
ROBBING PETER was nominated for four 2005 IFP/Independent Spirit Awards.
$6 for RV conference attendees and students, $10 general public.

#3 On Saturday Oct. 22 at 7 p.m., The Independent Filmmakers of Southern Arizona are hosting their popular networking event at Hotel Congress,
311 East Congress St, Tucson.
Filmmakers of all disciplines--directors, DPs, editors, actors, and
WRITERS--are encouraged to bring their business cards or
headshots to mix and mingle. Reel Vision Filmmakers' Conference
presenters, such as screenwriting expert Linda Seger, will be
signing their books. Food and drinks available for purchase.

#4 Reel Vision Luncheon with Acclaimed Filmmaker Dennis Leoni.
Acclaimed filmmaker Dennis Leoni will be the keynote speaker at the Reel Vision Luncheon, October 23, 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Hotel Arizona (formerly the Radisson City Center Tucson), 181 W Broadway Blvd. Tucson, AZ.
Dennis Leoni is the creator, writer, director, and executive producer of the critically acclaimed Showtime series, "Resurrection Blvd." - the first drama series in the history of American television to be written, produced, directed and starring Latinos. Dennis has created programming for HBO, Paramount , Disney, Showtime and Columbia. Tickets are $35 and may be purchased by calling 325-9175 by October 18.
